Much of our practice utilises and draws attention to the waste materials of everyday life. For this installation, we asked people to donate the cellophane packaging from their greetings cards. These were hung in a star formation over the centre of the sanctuary of Renfield St. Stephen’s Church, Glasgow. They caught the light and moved in the the draughts of the building, creating a large-scale, shimmering Christmas installation out of a material that is usually overlooked.
