This installation was made for Peter Gardner’s Service of Introduction as Pioneer Minister to the Visual Arts Communities of Glasgow, on 26th October 2016, which was held in the sanctuary of Renfield St. Stephen’s Church, Glasgow. 153 jam jars, fixed together, suspended in lines, became containers of light, which in turn reflected and refracted the light in the space. Viewers were invited to interact with the installation, to generate waves that worked their way along the lines, creating a kinetic installation as the jars jostled together.
