During Holy Week, in the sanctuary of Renfield St. Stephen’s Church, Glasgow, the door between the church and the street lay open, allowing passers-by an unexpected view of a large-scale crown of thorns. ‘Point’ was made from a sinuous ribbon of knitted string, pierced by knitting needles. The work was transformed on Easter morning with the addition of daffodils.
